The Apertura 2.5X Barlow Lens is a great accessory to dial in precise magnification ranges on a broad range of celestial objects. Use with most any 1.25" eyepiece to increase the magnification output by 2.25X! This 1.25" Barlow has a triplet optical design for superb results. The rugged rubber grip allows for easy grasp of the lens in dark conditions or when wearing gloves.
At this price, why not have a standard 2X Barlow as well as this 2.25X Barlow in your accessory case? If you do, each 1.25" you have will yield three different magnifications, depending on whether you use it alone, with the 2X Barlow, or with this Apertura 2.5X Barlow!
