Celestron's 22 lb Counterweight works perfectly with the CGE Pro, CGX-L, CGE, CGEM DX, or CI-700 series equatorial mounts. Included is a shaft-hole size of approximately 32mm or 1-1/4" for easy installation. This counterweight is ideal for heavier telescopes or multiple accessories on the scope side of the equatorial axis. Occasionally, equipment setups can be sufficiently heavy as to require extra counterweights to obtain proper balance. This single 22 lb counterweight may be just the solution you need for extra stability and balance on your CGE Pro or CGEM DX.
