AstroZap Focus Cap for 9" SCT's

This multi-faceted tool is a great to add to your tool box. When you want help focusing the image during CCD or DSLR photography sessions, just turn the center wheel to the "Open" position which reveals a trio of off-axis masks. This works like a Bahtinov mask. The Astrozap Focus Cap doesn't stop there. Rotate the wheel again to place the cap in the "Closed" position. You can then either take dark frames or use it as any dust cap.

Proudly manufactured in the USA and made from lightweight aluminum and powder-coated black, this Astrozap Focusing Cap is an excellent example of great craftsmanship. As far as installation: three thumbscrews hold the Focusing Cap firmly in place, and no plastic plugs or tools are needed.

The AZ-409 Focus Cap will fit telescopes with outside diameters from 247mm-266mm. This measurement is normally that of a 9" SCT; Please measure your own telescope before ordering.
