Apertura Illuminator for Reticle Eyepieces

Working in conjunction with reticle eyepieces, this Apertura Illuminator features adjustable brightness and exudes a red LED light.

This illuminator operates via a simple ON/OFF switch, making it remarkably easy to use for helping you locate the center of your view field despite the darkness level of your surroundings. The purpose of having a reticle eyepiece in the first place is to aid in finding the center of your eyepiece, but if you can't even detect the lines as you're looking through your telescope, what good does it do? With this Apertura Illuminator, however, you can easily find the center of your eyepiece no matter where you are viewing from.

Apertura Illuminator Design

Construction consists of a metal tube that is threaded on one side to fit reticle eyepieces with an 8mm female thread port.
