These 10x42 TrailSeeker binoculars have been enhanced with ED glass elements to offer exceptional outdoor performance like never before. Phase and dielectric coated BaK-4 prisms dramatically increase light transmission through the prism system for unparalleled image quality and views that will wow the avid hunter or outdoorsmen. Compared to similar binoculars, TrailSeeker offers a better close focus along with a wider field of view. TrailSeeker ED binoculars deliver edge-to-edge sharpness with excellent color correction and razor-sharp images. The Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass dramatically reduces chromatic aberration, also known as color fringing, a visual defect common in binoculars. Not all ED glass is identical. The ED glass used by Celestron is superior in quality and produces noticeably brighter images with increased sharpness compared to binoculars without ED glass. The difference is more obvious when light conditions are low at sunup or sundown.
